Must have welding experience in the construction, mining or related industry or prefer a two-year welding vocational-technical degree.
The position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on dragline systems, gearing, and motor alignment. Welding processes most commonly used are SMAW, FCAW and GMAW. Other processes utilized are Carbon Arc Gouging, Oxy-Fuel Welding and Cutting. The candidate should be able to properly choose filler metals and construction material to complete assignments. The candidate should expect to gain working knowledge of Dragline Wire Rope, Bearings, Gearing, and Lubrication Systems
Position requires rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
